		<description><![CDATA[You needn’t leave the kids at home when visiting this year’s Investec Cape Town Art Fair at the CTICC from 14-16 February 2020, as stimulating creative activities await the young &#8211; and the young at heart &#8211; at Lalela’s exhibition presence at the fair. The non-profit arts education programme for at-risk youth will be exhibiting artworks created by Lalela learners as well as hosting Kids-4-Kids Tours, in addition to mounting an Interactive White Wall which invites all visitors to make their mark&#8230; This year, Lalela will show off a range of inspiring artworks created by youth at-risk who participate in Lalela’s arts education programme. Selected pieces will be exhibited on the walls of Lalela’s stand and are available for purchase, with the proceeds going towards funding the NPO. What’s more, Lalela will coordinate Kids-4-Kids Tours taking place on 14 and 15 February 2020. As the name suggests, these are curated tours of the fair aimed at fellow school pupils, coordinated and undertaken by Lalela learners themselves. 		<description><![CDATA[Now in its sixth edition, Investec Cape Town Art Fair (ICTAF) continues to work alongside a growing number of local and international galleries who support the artistic practices of emerging and established artists from around the world, with the introduction of a new section, SOLO, to the fair. ICTAF2018 will run from 16-18 February 2018 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). Nontobeko Ntombela has been appointed as the curator of the inaugural iteration of SOLO, working alongside Fair Curator Tumelo Mosaka and the ICTAF team. SOLO will focus on the production of women artists, offering different perspectives of the widespread socio-political issues faced by women in both public and private spheres, while also highlighting their contribution to the art world.
