		<description><![CDATA[willowlamp’s citrus-inspired statement piece Known primarily for its signature large-scale art pieces, willowlamp’s most recent designs were conceived to cater to smaller spaces and offer the same design impact in a more versatile way. ‘I decided that the new collection needed to include beautiful and sculptural lighting designs that were accessible to a wider audience &#8211; not everyone who wants a statement piece has the space for something on the larger end of the scale,’ says Adam Hoets, Founder and Creative Director of willowlamp. For these new smaller pieces he looked around him for cues, the result of which is a collection of forms inspired by the exciting design capacity of nature. The A-Peal pendant is proof that creative impetus can be found in even the most commonplace of objects. The inspiration behind this particular design was the simple everyday beauty of a naartjie peel – the irregular rind of the peeled fruit inspiring the playful curved shape. 		<description><![CDATA[Forming part of award-winning lighting design company willowlamp’s expanding collection of exquisite pendants and chandeliers, the Love Clover range is a suite of charming yet elegant hanging lights that pay homage to the botanical beauty and keepsake; the four-leaf clover. Each of the four distinctive designs in the new range conveys the serendipitous feelings associated with finding a four-leaf clover. According to willowlamp’s Founder and Creative Director, Adam Hoets, the Love Clover range was inspired by a run in the mountain where he and his fiancé [now his wife] happened across fields of clovers. “Since that day, she encouraged me to use the shape of the four-leaf clover in my work.” Baby Love Initially, only one lighting design bearing this distinctive motif was planned, but then Hoets decided to expand the range to three pendants and one chandelier. The challenge came in when trying to capture the sense of joy that is associated with clovers, while still creating sophisticated designs. “As cute and cheerful as four-leaf clovers are, it took me a long time to translate them into three-dimensional objects that were interesting,” Hoets says. “Eventually, through trial and error, the solution presented itself in what is now a four-piece [...]]]></description>
