EASTER WONDERLAND SCAVENGER HUNT
The Easter Bunny has a lot of delicious fun in store for the little ones. They’ll need their problem-solving skills to search for five clues hidden around the farm. With a map in hand, and a little parental guidance if you’d like to join, they will gather all five clues in exchange for a surprise Easter hamper. If the adults are feeling left out, they can apply their own problem-solving skills at various tasting stations along the route to determine which wine is their favourite.

CELEBRATE EASTER WITH THE PERFECT PICNIC
Collect your picnic basket, find a shady spot on the Werf, lay down your blanket (supplied by us) and tuck into delicious farm food with friends and family. We call it the perfect way to spend your day! Generously packed with the freshest ingredients straight from our farm and local ethical suppliers, our Easter picnic baskets contain a bounty to enjoy. Inside you’ll find hot cross buns, a selection of local cheese, salads, greens, pickled fish and veg, chicken terrine and, of course, chocolate pasteis de nata with speckled eggs for dessert. Plant-based options are available.

GOOD FRIDAY DINNER AT THE MANOR HOUSE
Spier’s iconic Manor House, which dates back to 1822, has been beautifully restored to host small, intimate food and wine experiences. On Good Friday, the historically-rich landmark will provide the setting for a four-course Easter dinner, prepared by Chef Phil Carmicheal in the open hearth kitchen. From canapés and art in the drawing room, to starters, mains and desserts in the main dining area, Chef Phil will take you on a culinary journey through the best of traditional South African Easter cuisine.

BAKED BLISS AT VADAS SMOKEHOUSE & BAKERY
There are many reasons to visit Vadas, but at this time of the year it’s to get your hands on freshly baked hot cross buns (R15 each or six for R80). Of course, while you’re there you may as well stock up on a few pasteis de nata.
If you’re wanting to sit down to a meal instead, we’re serving up something special this Easter Sunday, for lunch and dinner. Expect hot cross buns and pickled fish, sourdough crumbed lamb ribs, meatballs with harissa, Megan’s garden greens and a delectable dessert of Easter egg pie and pasteis de nata.
