The 100% Textiles Pavilion presented by 100% Design South Africa at Decorex Cape Town 2016

A stimulating precursor to 100% Design South Africa, the country’s leading design show, held in Joburg in August, the 100% Textiles pavilion is set to be a highlight of upcoming Decorex Cape Town.

In 2014, the show’s curators, Platform Creative Agency, presented the alluring 100% Black exhibition – a collection of ebony design. This year, they trade monochrome for kaleidoscopic with Picture Africa the central feature of 100% Textiles, which explores the union of two powerful mediums – photography and textiles. Expect a vibrant amalgamation of the joyous, clashing and colourful textiles of our colourful continent and the vibrant street and studio photography that encapsulates the spirit and energy of contemporary African life.

Also forming part of the 100% Textiles Pavilion is a selection of fabric and textiles design exhibitors, as well as the engaging Makers Hub, making the pavilion a standout offering for the public and industry professionals alike.

Pick your favourite fabric from 29 April to 2 May 2016 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) in Cape Town, South Africa.

A trade-focused day will take place on 29 April 2016. Decorex Cape Town is open from 10am to 7pm on 29 April to 1 May 2016 and 10am to 6pm on 2 May 2016. Ticket prices are R85 for adults, R75 for trade, pensioners and students and R20 for children.
