A brand new addition to the Expo will be the for the love of CONCRETE Design Competition. Anyone, from architects to designers, artists to the general public, were invited to enter. The top 30 designs, brought to life by World of Decorative Concrete (WODC), will be on display and visitors are invited to bid on their favourites. All funds raised will be donated to DARG (Domestic Animal Rescue Group).
The 12 Izitulo Design Challenge, presented by Leon at CCXIX and St Leger & Viney, will showcase some of the finalists. Student and emerging designers were invited to come up with an original chair design… anything from easy chairs and barstools to dining and occasional seating.
The Cape HOMEMAKERS Expo is proudly presented by HOMEMAKERS, the biggest home enhancement exhibition group in South Africa, presenting four home lifestyle events in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Port Elizabeth, reaching 125 000 visitors every year.
